• Liquid Fuels successfully filed.
• Josh Umbaugh hired as part time road crew.

10. New Business

• Received bids for new township truck.
• Motion by _____________ to accept truck purchase bid from Town and Country Ford in Ligonier at $69,350.00 2^nd by __________________.
• Currently receiving bids for the new guide rail instillation on the Hoods Mill Bridge.
• Meeting was held with Singer Accounting on March 5^th for the 2024 yearly DCED audit as well as the monthly audit of the township book keeping.
• The Cook Township website is now operational.
• The township is currently shopping insurance coverages, substantial savings is anticipated. 
• The township buildings as well as the community center have had the locks changed.
• Tree clearing has been done on Hoover Road, Seaton Road, Felger Road and Cabin Road.
• Road crew has been busy plowing and ashing roads as well as servicing township equipment.

Update From the Real Estate Tax Office:

As you are aware, due to a breakdown of machinery, the tax bills were sent to 

Tax Collectors later than normal.  Given the notices were mailed at different dates, 

the tax payer is entitled to a 2% discount if paid within 2 months and may pay at

face if paid within 4 months.  The tax bills were delivered to the mail service on

March 3, 2025.  However, the tax collectors stated the bills were not mailed by

the service until March 13, 2025.  Therefore, taxpayers may pay at 2% discount

up to May 12, 2025 and at face until July 12, 2025.
